The hotel was great. For the money you would expect an older, out-of-date looking hotel that needed work, but that was not the case. The hotel looked to have been very well kept. The hotel was very clean and inviting. Not the most up to date in decor but a very comfortable room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Decent for a stay at Carowinds, since the hotel is directly across the street. Although the pool is borderline miniature, it does have one.

This hotel is great to stay at if you are going to close out the park. I would definitely stay here again!

Right outside front gate of Crosswinds, older hotel but was fairly clean.

Staff was not unfriendly, but definitely not overly friendly. I was simply handed my room keys and that was it. I had to ask about the elevators, where I could park, entrances, etc.

Clean, but was not not provide a refrigerator and microwave. This is something that is needed when traveling with children.

Nothing special, continental breakfast not set up efficiently everybody was clumped in one spot.

As a light sleeper, I am always disturbed by the other guests, who don't think that they can be heard as soon as they are in the corridor, and shout and/or slam doors. It comes with the hotel experience. But in our room, there seemed to be a "creaking floor" noise from above which kept me awake, and woke me early in the morning. I told the hotel about this and they did not reply to me. The rooms weren't clean; yelling kids in next room; vending machines only on first floor. Room very small and bathroom you couldn't turn around in and only a shower.
